Isaac Esene , Chair
Isaac is a servant leader, public health advocate, and veteran whose work sits at the intersection of community safety, youth empowerment, and health equity. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Isaac draws on his lived experience, military service, and healthcare training to build initiatives that respond directly to the urgent needs of underserved communities.
As the founder and Executive Director of GoodWorks, Isaac has mobilized hundreds of volunteers, trained thousands in life-saving skills, and secured critical funding to expand health literacy and violence prevention across the region. His vision is bold but grounded: to ensure every young person, regardless of zip code, has access to the tools, confidence, and knowledge to save lives and shape their future.

Henry Meiser , Vice Chair
Henry is a nationally recognized advocate for school safety and mental health. Raised in Southern Maryland, he brings lived experience, policy insight, and a fierce commitment to protecting young people—particularly in educational spaces where support is often limited.
GoodWorks benefits deeply from Henry’s dedication to trauma-informed care and youth-centered programming. His guidance ensures that our work remains both grounded in evidence and emotionally responsive to the needs of today’s students.

Chibuzor Chukwu , Treasurer
Chibuzor is a compassionate leader deeply committed to health equity and patient advocacy. With a strong background in healthcare operations and a systems-based mindset, she excels at navigating complex care environments and ensuring that underserved populations receive thoughtful, coordinated care.
At GoodWorks, Chibuzor brings a community-first approach to expanding health literacy and access. Her ability to balance strategy with empathy helps shape our mission to deliver effective, people-centered training that saves lives and uplifts communities.

Oluwabusola “Busola” Abayomi , Secretary
Busola is a values-based human services advocate whose work is rooted in care, dignity, and community empowerment. With a strong understanding of social support systems, she is passionate about creating solutions that help individuals and families thrive.
As a board member of GoodWorks, Busola champions programs that bring life-saving skills directly into neighborhoods. Her grounded perspective and servant leadership help us stay accountable to the real people we serve every day.

Layomi Omolola, MPH , Community Outreach
Layomi is a dynamic public health leader focused on uplifting underrepresented communities. She brings a strong background in health equity, youth justice, and community engagement, rooted in her belief that every person deserves access to quality care and opportunity.
At GoodWorks, Layomi helps lead initiatives that are inclusive, culturally competent, and measurable. Her strategic mindset and heart for service guide our efforts to build healthier, safer communities through data-driven education and outreach.

Chinazom Ojiaku , Board Member
Chinazom is a resilient and principled community builder with a passion for both technology and justice. Known for his integrity and leadership, he has spent years mentoring others, staying grounded in his belief that service and knowledge should be used to create opportunities for those who often go overlooked.
His role at GoodWorks reflects that same belief—leveraging his lived experience and passion for education to help us empower youth with critical safety skills and the confidence to lead in their own communities.

Rev. Obinna Anige, COO
Obinna is a lifelong educator and public safety advocate who blends his faith, community roots, and emergency management training into a powerful commitment to service. Whether teaching CPR or mentoring future leaders, he is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe and prepared.
At GoodWorks, Obinna plays a key role in developing safety-focused programs that are practical, ethical, and accessible. His leadership ensures that our workshops are not only informative but deeply transformative for the communities we serve.

Jamachi Eluchie , Board Member
Jamachi is a Yale-trained neuroscientist and systems thinker who brings a rare blend of scientific curiosity and technical expertise to every challenge. He is deeply committed to solving complex problems that impact public systems, and he approaches his work with a mindset rooted in innovation, inclusion, and service.
